Student Statement

Vincenzo Massimiani graduated from the Big Picture Academy at Liverpool Boys High School in 2021. His personal interests include creativity, art, writing and the tabletop game Dungeons & Dragons. Fascinated by the application of art and creative medias in teaching, as well as anthropological and psychological fields of study, he believes the best way to capture somebody’s attention is to look from a creative perspective. A good listener and an empathetic peer, Vince is an effective creative writer, as well as a proficient digital and traditional artist. An achievement he takes specific pride in is a workshop he taught online, during the COVID19 lockdown, to Liverpool Public School students that focused on Colour Association. He is very proud of running a 2-year Dungeons & Dragons campaign. It increased his skills in networking, research and applying critique. Vincenzo plans to study Anthropology at university and work in a field where he interacts with diverse cultures and people.
